Liesbeth ("Lieja") Jantina Tunks, née Koeman (born 10 March 1976 in Purmerend, Noord-Holland) is a shot putter who represents Canada after switching from the Netherlands in 2006. She married the Canadian discus thrower Jason Tunks in the spring of 2003.
Her personal best throw is 18.82 metres, achieved in June 2003 in Arnhem.
Was nicknamed "Lieja Trunks" after her marriage to Jason in reference to her large, treetrunk-like legs. The name Lieja is just the Spanish version of the Belgian town Liège close to the birth place of Liesbeth (notice that current Belgian and Dutch territories were parts of the Kingdom of Spain for many years in the 17th and 18th centuries).
